- Zoom in to your area of interest. (Please note, the Roads class displays by default and may clutter the view. The roads may be turned off by expanding the TRANSPORTATION theme and deselecting Roads. Additionally, DRGs and other classes will turn on at various zoom levels (scales). You may turn them off as well.)
- Expand the Topographic Maps theme
- Select USGS QUADRANGLES
- Click Refresh Required
- Continue to zoom in until you are able to identify the area of interest
The boundary of the topographic quadrangle will appear as a faint yellow line with the name of the quadrangle appearing in outlined yellow type near the middle of the quadrangle. This is the name that you should put on your priority list. Please remember to also include the state.
